NEW: Man claims to have set a new world record by becoming the first person to hold a soccer match 5900 feet above the ground from a hot air balloon.
The group was seen playing soccer while an airplane circled around them.
“We set a new world record. The world’s first hot air balloon football match at an altitude of 1800 meters,” said Russian extreme athlete Sergey Boytsov.
