Juventus eye Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca as future manager amid Tudor scrutiny

Juventus have reportedly identified Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca as a potential long-term successor to Igor Tudor, whose position is under increasing scrutiny despite the club’s unbeaten Serie A start. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the Bianconeri admire Maresca’s tactical vision and his success in rebuilding Chelsea into a European contender.

“There’s a club in Italy that’s closely following Enzo Maresca’s matches and appreciates his qualities as a coach,” Moretto revealed on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel. “There are no talks or negotiations at the moment, it’s more of a long-term idea. Enzo used to play for this club, it’s Juventus.”

Maresca, a former Juventus midfielder, took charge at Chelsea in 2024 and has since guided the Blues to the UEFA Conference League title and the Club World Cup. His composed managerial approach and familiarity with the Juventus environment have made him an attractive option for the Turin giants.

While Juventus remain publicly supportive of Tudor, patience is wearing thin after a series of five consecutive draws. The Croatian’s insistence on his rigid three-man defence has drawn tactical criticism, particularly following goalless games against AC Milan and Bologna.
