Brazilian legend Zico has singled out two key traits that make Chelsea’s Estevao Willian resemble Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
The comparison comes as Estevao, 18, has impressed since joining Chelsea from Palmeiras, notably scoring a Premier League winner against Liverpool.
Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, Zico said: “He’s a very good player. He shares a lot of characteristics with Yamal. He has a lot of ability with his feet, he’s very strong and I think he can become a very good player and do a lot of good things for Chelsea.”
The Brazilian youngster is also growing in prominence with his national side, adding first-team experience in both Brazil and England.
Meanwhile, his relationship with Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is viewed as a strong foundation for his development.
