Real Madrid talisman Kylian Mbappé has received a motivational message from club legend Sergio Ramos ahead of the season’s first El Clásico against rivals Barcelona.
Ramos, a former teammate of Mbappé’s at PSG, revealed he is in constant communication with the star, personally vowing to spur him on for the match.
Mbappé enters the fixture in stellar form, having scored 15 goals across all competitions this season, becoming the first Los Blancos player since Cristiano Ronaldo to score 10 in the first nine La Liga games.
However, the French forward is yet to defeat Barcelona, having failed to secure a win in all four encounters contested against the Catalan side during the 2024–25 season.
Addressing the crucial rivalry game, Ramos stated: “The upcoming Clásico? You already know my heart is white until death. I hope Madrid wins and my brother Kyky [Kylian Mbappe] puts up a great performance.” Ramos added,
“I will speak to Kylian Mbappe from now till the Clásico and motivate him for the game.” Mbappé will be highly motivated to secure his first Clásico victory and widen the gap at the top of the La Liga table.
