Arsenal’s 7-1 win over PSV joins a list of historic UEFA Champions League blowouts led by Liverpool and Real Madrid’s record 8-0 triumphs.
Arsenal’s emphatic 7-1 victory over PSV in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 ranks among the biggest wins in competition history. Mikel Arteta’s men ended a two-game Premier League goal drought as Jurrien Timber, Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino, Leandro Trossard, and Riccardo Calafiori scored, while captain Martin Odegaard netted twice in Eindhoven.
It marked Arsenal’s record away win in the Champions League and the largest away triumph in a knockout stage, coming shortly after Paris Saint-Germain’s 7-0 thrashing of Brest.
