FIFA launches new round of 2026 World Cup ticket sales

FIFA begins the second ticket sales phase for the 2026 World Cup, including Kansas City matches.

FIFA has opened the second phase of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup, giving fans another chance to secure seats for the global event across North America.

According to The Kansas City Star, registration began Monday, Oct. 27, at fifa.com, where fans can sign up using their FIFA ID for an “early ticket draw.” Those selected through the lottery will be notified in the coming weeks and can purchase tickets between mid-November and early December.

FIFA said over one million tickets have already been sold following a September lottery that drew 4.5 million applicants. About 7 million seats will be available across 104 matches in 16 host cities in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

Kansas City’s GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, renamed “Kansas City Stadium” for the tournament, will host six games, including a quarterfinal.

Tickets for Kansas City matches have appeared on resale platforms ranging from $260 to $7,000.
