How many Man United games will Mbeumo, Amad and Mazraoui miss during AFCON 2025?

Manchester United will be without Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui for up to six matches during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Manchester United are set to be without Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which runs from December 21 to January 18.

Mbeumo will feature for Cameroon, Amad for Ivory Coast, and Mazraoui for Morocco, meaning all three could miss a busy period for United. The trio are expected to be absent for six Premier League fixtures — Aston Villa (A), Newcastle United (H), Wolverhampton Wanderers (H), Leeds United (A), Burnley (A) and Manchester City (H) — as well as the FA Cup third-round tie scheduled for the weekend of January 10.

United’s final match before the tournament will be against Bournemouth on December 15. Amad and Mbeumo could also face each other at AFCON when Ivory Coast and Cameroon meet on December 28.

“We have time to suffer with that,” said head coach Ruben Amorim. “We are going to struggle a little bit… Other players are going to have the opportunity to help us.”

Mbeumo has scored five goals and registered one assist in 10 appearances this season, while Amad has two assists in nine games. Mazraoui, despite injury issues, remains a key figure for Amorim when fit. Their absence will be a major setback for United.
