Real Madrid have swiftly shut down interest from the Premier League for star midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with reports indicating the club has no desire to sell the French international despite a significant €70 million offer from Newcastle United.
According to Madrid Universal, citing Defensa Central, the Spanish giants consider the 22-year-old “not for sale” and one of their most promising assets.
Camavinga has been a standout performer for Real Madrid, particularly showcasing his remarkable versatility under coach Xabi Alonso. His recent performance as a right-winger in El Clásico served as a prime example of his craft.
Real Madrid’s stance is unequivocal: they view Camavinga as the “prototype of a modern midfielder,” capable of contributing significantly in both defensive and attacking phases. Despite interest from other major English clubs, including Chelsea, the club remains resolute.
Alonso holds immense faith in Camavinga, believing his previous issues with consistency were largely due to injuries, not a lack of talent.
While rotations are planned to manage the midfield depth, Alonso wants Camavinga to play an important role, believing such turnover is “essential to fully leverage the talent within the squad.” Given this high regard, Real Madrid will not entertain offers for the Frenchman.
