It’s been a wretched day for Tottenham, even if they were only beaten 1-0, but they were soundly beaten.
Boos ring around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Chelsea make it six wins in seven in the white half of north London.
Joao Pedro’s first half effort is enough to seal it for Chelsea, who should have put the game to bed a lot earlier after further chances for the Brazilian and substitute Jamie Gittens.
Spurs managed just one shot on target during the entire match – and none in the second half.
I’m sorry but although slightly better defensively, much much worse than under Ange going forward. If Thomas Frank stays there for 5 years they’ll win nothing.

I think Ange should have been given time this season to make amends for the position we finished up last year . Yes we’ve tightened up at the back but to just have, what ? 2 shots all game – at home! Embarrassing really – especially at home

I’m not about to celebrate a 1-0 loss but this is as bad as we’re likely to play all season. We’d have been battered last season, we might have scored one but we’d have conceded four. There’s a long way to go but that is progress.

Let’s put this into perspective. Frank has only been in charge for less than 20 matches. It takes time! Look at Arsenal. Arteta has had 5 years. Give the guy a chance! You are not going to change the way of playing overnight.
