Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has this week turned heads across the world of football once again.
This comes after the Portuguese was drawn on the claims of Wayne Rooney that Barcelona icon Lionel Messi is a superior player to his former teammate.
Ronaldo’s response to as much was laid out during an interview with English journalist Piers Morgan.
In the as-of-yet unreleased sit-down, Morgan put to CR7 that:
”Wayne Rooney has said that he doesn’t hate you, but he still said Messi is better.”
And Ronaldo, whose full reply remains to be seen, did not appear to hesitate in assuring:
”No problem. I don’t agree! I don’t want to be humble.”
