Predicted lineup: Ruben Amorim plans minimal changes for Man United vs Spurs

Manchester United, under Ruben Amorim, prepares for a Tottenham Hotspur clash with a predicted 3-4-2-1 lineup, aiming for a crucial Premier League win after a recent draw, with Benjamin Sesko spearheading the attack.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly set to maintain his preferred tactical approach for the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, deploying a 3-4-2-1 formation with minimal changes to the starting XI, according to reporting by The 4th Official.

The Red Devils head into the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium eager to return to winning ways after being held to a disappointing 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest last weekend. Amorim’s stability in selection signals a desire to build cohesion following the recent stutter.

In defence, the back three is expected to comprise Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Luke Shaw, aiming to frustrate the opposition’s attack.

Notably, Lisandro Martinez remains sidelined as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. Senne Lammens will feature between the sticks despite conceding twice in his last outing.

The midfield engine room will be commanded by the experienced duo of Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, tasked with dictating the game’s tempo.

They will be flanked by Diogo Dalot on the left and Amad Diallo on the right, with both wide players expected to make overlapping runs to stretch the Spurs defence.

Further forward, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are predicted to operate as the attacking midfielders, looking to exploit the counter-attack opportunities.

Leading the line will be Benjamin Sesko, who will be “eager to impress after failing to score against Nottingham last weekend.”

The report suggests that players like Noussair Mazraoui, Mason Mount, and Harry Maguire will be named on the bench, available to influence the game in the second half if required.
