According to Sports Mole reporting, Lionel Messi delivered a phenomenal performance on Saturday, scoring a decisive brace and providing two assists to propel Inter Miami to a dominant 4-0 victory over Nashville in the third and final game of their MLS Cup playoff series.

The commanding win secured the Herons’ progression to the Eastern Conference semi-finals, keeping their hunt for the Major League Soccer title firmly alive.

The pivotal night at Chase Stadium was defined by a historic milestone for the Argentine legend. His second assist of the match—a perfectly weighted pass to Tadeo Allende—saw him reach 400 career assists for club and country.

This feat places the 38-year-old second on the all-time assist providers list, just four assists shy of equalling Ferenc Puskas’s legendary record. Of this total, 37 assists have come during his tenure as an Inter Miami player.
