Nottingham Forest has officially announced the signing of Swiss international Dan Ndoye from Bologna. The transfer fee is reported to be around £34 million. Ndoye has inked a five-year contract with the Premier League club. He joins recent arrivals Igor Jesus and Cunha, both from Botafogo, as Forest bolsters their squad at the City Ground.
During his time with Bologna in Serie A, Ndoye featured in 62 matches. He scored nine goals and provided five assists. Ndoye was instrumental in Bologna's Coppa Italia triumph last season. He scored the decisive goal against AC Milan in the final, ending the club's 51-year wait for a major trophy.
Ndoye's career has seen him play for Lausanne, Nice, and Basel. He also has 22 caps for Switzerland, including appearances at Euro 2024. "I am really happy to have signed for the club," Ndoye said. "It is a really exciting time at Forest, and I knew straight away that I wanted to be a part of the project. It's a really ambitious team with a fantastic history, and I can't wait to get started."
Ndoye could potentially make his Premier League debut for Nottingham Forest on August 17. He will be facing Brentford.
