According to a PULSE SPORTS report, Nigerian striker Victor Boniface was briefly involved in a minor incident with German police following Werder Bremen’s 2–1 victory over Wolfsburg. The 24-year-old forward, who provided an assist in the Bundesliga clash, was stopped by officers while driving home from the match.
A video shared by fans showed Boniface in a short exchange with a female police officer outside the Weserstadion. However, the encounter was quickly resolved. According to German outlet DeichStube, the situation was “nothing serious.” The report clarified that the incident was a harmless misunderstanding after the Super Eagles forward had mistakenly taken a wrong turn on his way out of the stadium and was redirected by police before being allowed to continue his journey.
