Cameroonian legend Joseph-Antoine Bell believes the Super Eagles hold a slight advantage over DR Congo in Sunday’s decisive World Cup qualifier final due to their potent attack and defensive solidity.
According to a report from All Nigeria Soccer, Cameroon football icon Joseph-Antoine Bell has tipped the Super Eagles as “a slight favorite” ahead of their crucial encounter against DR Congo in Rabat on Sunday.
The winner of the decisive match will advance to the intercontinental playoffs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Bell highlighted Nigeria’s offensive capability, naming three key attackers as the primary reason for his confidence. “Let’s say that for me, Nigeria is a slight favorite.
I say this because this team obviously has impressive attacking potential with Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman or Moses Simon, but it exudes real power, and defensively, it is solid,” Bell told Africa Foot.
