Como star Alisha Lehmann revealed her Lake Como home was ransacked by thieves, marking the second time the Swiss international has been burgled after sharing a video of the distressing aftermath on social media.
Women’s football star Alisha Lehmann has posted footage revealing the ransacked state of her home on Lake Como after a break-in, according to a report from the Daily Star.
The former Aston Villa forward had a number of valuables stolen, with the estimated loss reportedly totaling almost £700,000.
This is the second time Lehmann has been burgled, having previously had a house in Turin—which she shared with her now ex-boyfriend, Douglas Luiz—broken into last year.
She uploaded a video on social media, displaying the state of a bedroom in her property:
“Garments are all over the floor, with a heap of her possessions scattered all over the bed, whilst the wardrobe doors are thrown wide open.”
Lehmann shared the disturbing footage with her more than 16 million Instagram followers, accompanying the clip with a sarcastic caption: “Next time people rob my house, can you please clean up after, cause I’ve got OCD.”
The incident occurred despite the player having recently spoken “glowingly” of her new surroundings, stating last month: “I feel good in Como. It’s the perfect place for me and, certainly, the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived.
I live right on the lake, and it’s absolutely magnificent.” She also noted that “everyone respects each other so much” in the area.
The burglary is hardly ideal preparation for Como’s next fixture, which sees them welcome Serie A leaders Roma. A victory would draw them level on points in the table and could secure the top spot if they prevail by “at least three goals.”
Lehmann, who plays for Como in Italy, made her eighth appearance for the club just two days before posting the video, coming on as a second-half substitute in their 1-0 victory over Milan.
