Ronaldo dines with Trump and Musk at White House

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo attended a White House dinner alongside US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk as part of a high-profile Saudi delegation.

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was in attendance at the White House in Washington D.C. on Tuesday night, joining US President Donald Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook for a high-profile dinner.

According to a report from Football España, the Real Madrid icon and Al-Nassr star attended the gathering as part of the Saudi delegation, following talks between President Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman.

The report noted that the delegation’s attendance followed discussions after Trump announced that Saudi Arabia was a ‘major ally’ in the Middle East.

Ronaldo, who is also a Saudi ambassador and the face of football in the country, was present for the event.

The football legend received a personal mention from the President during his speech that night, highlighting the encounter’s paternal significance. Trump stated:

“My son is a big fan of Ronaldo, wherever Ronaldo is here. And Barron got to meet him, and I think he respects his father just a little bit more now. Just the fact that I introduced you, so thank you very much for being here, it’s an honour.”

Ronaldo’s attendance comes after prior comments made to Piers Morgan, as noted by Marca, where the star mentioned he would like to discuss how to achieve world peace with Trump, whom he called ‘one of the men who can help change the world.’

Despite the diplomatic focus, Ronaldo previously declared: “In the world, no one is more famous than me.”
