Barcelona is keeping details under wraps about a “special ceremonial kickoff” and has planned halftime performances as part of the emotional reopening of the renovated Spotify Camp Nou.
According to a report from Goal.com, FC Barcelona will mark its long-awaited return to the renovated Spotify Camp Nou with a secretive ceremony and a series of performances.
With the stadium reopening after 909 days away, the club expects around 45,000 fans, and gates will open at 2:15 PM—two hours before the scheduled 4:15 PM kickoff—to allow supporters to soak in the full pre-match show.
DJ Mon is set to warm up the crowd as they enter, followed by a central pre-match segment around 4:00 PM.
Catalan duo Figa Flawas will then perform, and the Orfeó Català choir will sing the ‘Cant del Barça’ accompanied by fireworks, celebrating Barca’s return in dramatic fashion.
The report points out that Barcelona has purposely kept the identity of the person who will take the ceremonial kickoff a secret, calling it “special” and promising more surprises throughout the evening.
At halftime, popular Catalan group The Tyets are scheduled to perform.
Club officials are encouraging fans to arrive early, wear their Barcelona jerseys and scarves, and help create a “once-in-a-generation” atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the symbolic return is framed by Barça’s leadership as more than just a match—it represents a renewal of identity, history, and continuity.
