Michael Olise inspired Bayern Munich’s stunning 6-2 comeback win over Freiburg, scoring twice and assisting three times to lift them eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
According to a report from France 24, Michael Olise delivered a sensational all-round performance as Bayern Munich overturned a 2–0 deficit to thrash Freiburg 6–2 at home in the Bundesliga.
Olise, described as “outstanding,” scored twice and set up three more goals to drive Bayern’s comeback.
Freiburg had stunned the home side early, racing into a 2–0 lead. But Bayern responded swiftly — Lennart Karl pulled one back in the 21st minute, fed by Olise, before Olise himself equalized just before halftime with a powerful strike.
In the second half, Olise whipped in a corner for Dayot Upamecano, and soon after Harry Kane added another, making it 4–2 and reinforcing Bayern’s momentum.
Later, Olise surged forward to set up Nicolas Jackson for the fifth goal, then capped off his five-goal contribution with a curled shot into the top corner.
The report notes that Bayern’s dominant display not only sealed the win, but also boosted their lead to eight points clear at the summit of the Bundesliga.
