This comes as the reigning Premier League champions prepare to host PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Reds’ domestic season has reached a low point after a dismal run saw them lose six of their last seven top-flight games, culminating in a 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
This slump has seen Liverpool drop to 11th in the league table after 12 matches—the first time the club has been in the bottom half in a decade—and leaves them 11 points behind leaders Arsenal.
