Barcelona is bracing for bad news after Dani Olmo suffered a dislocated shoulder during the win against Atletico Madrid.
Initial fears suggest the attacker could be sidelined until January, dealing a major blow to the team’s plans for the end of the year.
The injury happened directly after Olmo scored to put his side 2-1 up. He landed awkwardly on his shoulder and was seen in considerable pain as he was substituted, creating immediate concern for the club and its manager, Hansi Flick.
Early reports indicate a lengthy absence is likely, with some fearing he could miss at least three weeks.
This is a recurring issue for Olmo, who previously had surgery for a similar shoulder dislocation while playing for RB Leipzig.
