Broadcaster Gary Lineker has inked a deal with Netflix to broadcast his podcast, “The Rest is Football,” during next year’s World Cup. Co-hosted with Alan Shearer and Micah Richards, the visualised show will air daily on the streaming giant.
This marks Netflix’s first major football foray and follows Lineker’s earlier departure from BBC World Cup coverage. He called it a “fantastic opportunity” for global football discussion from a New York studio.
