Shaka Hislop treated for aggressive prostate cancer

Former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop is undergoing treatment for aggressive prostate cancer that has spread to his pelvic bone. The 56-year-old underwent surgery a year ago and recently completed radiation therapy.

Hislop urged regular testing, particularly for men over 50 and of African descent, stating, “Testing saves lives. It saved mine.” This comes as UK officials consider limiting routine prostate cancer screening.
