Luton Town is embracing sustainability with a new recyclable green kit and a unique tree-planting initiative. For every goal scored in their special third kit, a tree is planted at their new Power Court stadium. This eco-friendly approach extends to partnerships with sustainable sportswear brand Reflo, aiming to minimize textile waste in football.
This environmental commitment gained significant attention during an FA Cup match where seven goals resulted in 8,000 trees planted in Uganda. High-profile investor Harry Kane also supports Reflo, emphasizing the importance of creating a sustainable legacy in sports, following the pioneering efforts of Forest Green Rovers.
