Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany foresees a standout year for Jamal Musiala in 2026 as the midfielder nears a return from a fractured fibula. Musiala’s previous season saw him score 18 goals and provide five assists for the club. “Hopefully, 2026 will be his year,” Kompany stated.
Meanwhile, Alphonso Davies is also close to returning from an ACL injury, with Kompany hoping he plays against Mainz next week. Bayern Munich currently holds an eight-point lead in the Bundesliga and aims for four wins in their final 2025 matches.
