Tonda Eckert, 32, has been appointed Southampton’s permanent head coach until 2027. He has led the team from 21st to 14th in the Championship since taking over on an interim basis in November. Eckert aims for promotion, stating, “We go all in.”
Technical director Johannes Spors highlighted Eckert’s positive impact on the squad and communication. Eckert previously managed Southampton’s under-21s and served as an assistant at Barnsley and Genoa.
