Arsenal has made “real contact” by requesting information on Juventus starlet Kenan Yildiz, a move that is currently not a negotiation but may be intended to pressure the player’s current club during his contract talks.
Arsenal’s interest in Juventus rising star Kenan Yildiz has escalated from speculation to “real contact,” according to Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini.
The Premier League club reportedly initiated the dialogue by “ask[ing] for information” on the 20-year-old Turkish international, who has impressed with five goals and five assists this season from midfield.
Balzarini clarified the situation, insisting to TuttoJuve: “There’s been real contact with Arsenal… there’s no negotiation, let’s be clear, but they have asked for information about this player.”
It is suspected that the player’s camp may be encouraging the Arsenal interest to gain leverage in ongoing stalled contract talks with Juventus.
