Manchester United’s pursuit of Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, who is valued at around £70 million, is conditional on the club qualifying for the Champions League, which the player’s agent stated is necessary for his career development.
Manchester United is preparing a substantial bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, valued at approximately £70 million, as part of a squad overhaul.
However, the move hinges on United securing Champions League football, a requirement set by the player’s representative.
Wharton’s agent, James Featherstone, confirmed the plan: “Personally I think to play for England you have to play Champions League, to play in the Champions League you have got to play for one of the top teams in one of the top leagues.”
He noted the young player has a structured plan for career progression.
