Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to sell winger Brennan Johnson in January for an asking price of around £50 million, with Crystal Palace showing strong interest, as Spurs eye replacements like Antoine Semenyo.
Tottenham Hotspur sources indicate the club is increasingly open to selling winger Brennan Johnson in the January transfer window.
Despite joining for up to £47.5 million in 2023, his inconsistent form has frustrated manager Thomas Frank and supporters.
Crystal Palace is mooted as a potential destination, with two other Premier League clubs also making informal contact regarding the 24-year-old.
Spurs reportedly value the Wales international at approximately £50 million, though they may accept a slightly lower fee if conditions allow them to recoup their initial outlay.
With his contract running until 2028, Tottenham faces a decision on whether Johnson is high enough quality for their future ambitions, leading to the current temptation to sell.
With the potential sale of Johnson, Tottenham is already targeting high-profile replacements. The club is reportedly “firmly in the mix” for Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo, whose £65 million release clause is not a deterrent.
Spurs are also interested in RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, but the Ivorian winger is valued at over €100 million.
