Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Sporting Director Fabio Paratici will depart the club in February to take up a new role with Italian side Fiorentina.
The transition is scheduled to take place immediately following the conclusion of the January transfer window, fulfilling Paratici’s desire to return to his home country.
Addressing the change in leadership, Chief Executive Officer Vinai Venkatesham stated, “We have agreed that Fabio will return to Italy following the conclusion of the January transfer window, in line with his wish to move back home.
We thank Fabio for his contribution to the Club and wish him well for the future.”
Despite the loss of a key figure in their recruitment department, Venkatesham reassured supporters that the existing internal systems would ensure a smooth transition, adding, “Our management structure is designed to be resilient to personnel changes, and it will be business as usual moving forward.”
