Pep Guardiola says outgoing star wants Man City exit

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that Norwegian winger Oscar Bobb is seeking a move away from the Etihad Stadium as his opportunities for first-team football remain limited.

The 22-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, has started only five Premier League games this season, and his path to the starting eleven has been further blocked by the recent £62.5 million signing of Antoine Semenyo.

Following City’s 2-0 victory over Wolves, Guardiola addressed the growing speculation regarding the youngster’s future, stating,

“I know there are rumours, I know there are talks but I don’t know right now.”

However, when asked directly if Bobb wants to leave the club before the January window shuts, the City boss responded frankly, “I think so.”

While Bobb is under contract until 2029, Fulham are in talks for a permanent transfer, while Crystal Palace and several European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, remain interested in the versatile forward.
