Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu is set to miss ten weeks of action after sustaining a serious hamstring injury following his standout performance against Arsenal.
Manchester United have suffered a significant setback as defender Patrick Dorgu is ruled out for approximately 10 weeks with a hamstring injury.
The news, confirmed via Fabrizio Romano and Laurie Whitwell, comes after the Danish international’s stellar form.
Whitwell was quoted as saying, “Patrick Dorgu will be out for 10 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.”
The injury halts a breakout period for the youngster, who recently scored in back-to-back games, including a vital role in United’s 3–2 win over Arsenal.
He will now undergo extensive rehabilitation under the supervision of the club’s medical staff. United will be forced to find defensive alternatives as they enter a crucial stretch of fixtures without their rising star.
