La Liga stated that authorized broadcasts are marked with a distinct on-screen letter, allowing patrons to identify if a screening is permitted.
Patrons who encounter unauthorized broadcasts are encouraged to email the league with photographic evidence to facilitate verification.
La Liga has also established a dedicated channel for fans to anonymously denounce piracy.
The league remains one of Europe’s most aggressive organizations in fighting audio-visual fraud, asserting that these measures protect the intellectual property and commercial interests of Spanish football clubs.
