Rebekah Vardy has labeled the prospect of her husband Jamie entering football management as “extremely unlikely,” despite finding the idea of him returning to Leicester City “interesting.”
During an Instagram Q&A, she suggested the 39-year-old striker, currently playing for Serie A side Cremonese, lacks the necessary temperament for coaching.
Explaining her reasoning, she joked: “I don’t think he would have the patience!”
While Jamie Vardy continues to score in Italy, his former club Leicester City is currently searching for a new manager following the sacking of Marti Cifuentes.
While fans have speculated about a romantic return for the club legend, Rebekah noted that Jamie still finds watching the Foxes’ current Championship struggles “painful.”
For now, the veteran forward remains focused on his playing career abroad rather than the dugout.
