Fenerbahçe are in advanced negotiations with Atalanta to sign Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman in a deal potentially worth €40 million.
Fenerbahçe are intensifying their pursuit of Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman as the January transfer window deadline approaches.
Sporting director Devin Özek is currently in Italy to spearhead negotiations with both the club and the player’s representatives.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the high-level interest, stating, “Fenerbahçe in Turkey are working hard to sign Ademola Lookman. The club is working hard, and their director is in Italy.”
The Turkish giants are reportedly prepared to offer a lucrative package to the 28-year-old to finalize the move.
While Atalanta previously resisted offers from major European clubs, Romano noted that discussions are active and “Atalanta might look at this option if Fenerbahçe manages to agree with the player and make a strong financial offer, so the discussions are still happening.”
