The defender revealed he played despite physical discomfort to support a depleted side. Highlighting a dire selection crisis, Romero wrote: “I wanted to be available to help them even though I wasn’t feeling well especially since we only had 11 players available – unbelievable but true and disgraceful.”
Despite the frustration regarding the squad’s depth, the Argentine international remained committed to improving the team’s current form.
He expressed gratitude to the supporters and emphasized a collective work ethic moving forward.
