AC Milan are optimistic that leading scorer Christian Pulisic and winger Alexis Saelemaekers will return to full training this week ahead of their Serie A clash against Pisa on Friday.
AC Milan are expected to welcome back key attackers Christian Pulisic and Alexis Saelemaekers for their upcoming league fixture against Pisa.
Pulisic, the club’s top scorer this season with ten goals, has been sidelined with bursitis near his hip, while Saelemaekers is recovering from an adductor issue.
Both players missed the recent 3-0 win over Bologna but are now following individualized programs with the aim of rejoining the main group by midweek.
”Milan are aiming to have him back out and training on the pitch next week, and hope that he will be available to play against Pisa on Friday evening,” reports indicate regarding Pulisic’s recovery.
The team currently enjoys a rare break as their scheduled match against Como was postponed to February 18 due to the Winter Olympics opening ceremony at San Siro.
This pause allows manager Massimiliano Allegri more time to integrate his returning stars.
