Federico Dimarco’s three-assist performance propelled Inter Milan to a dominant 5-0 victory over Sassuolo, stretching their lead at the top of Serie A to eight points.
Federico Dimarco delivered a masterclass with three assists as Inter Milan dismantled Sassuolo 5-0 on Sunday.
The victory extends Inter’s unbeaten league streak to 12 matches and moves them eight points clear of AC Milan.
Goals from Bisseck, Thuram, Martinez, and Akanji, followed by a late Luis Henrique strike, solidified the champions’ dominance.
Meanwhile, Juventus salvaged a 2-2 draw against Lazio with a last-gasp equalizer.
Dimarco’s sensational form included a goal-line clearance and hitting the woodwork, though he remained humble after the match.
“I don’t feel like I’m anyone. In football, when things are going well you’re a phenomenon, but when things go badly you’re nothing,” Dimarco said.
His contributions proved vital as Inter capitalized on Juventus’ stumble, as the Bianconeri required a 95th-minute Pierre Kalulu goal to rescue a point at home.
