Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has voiced his frustration over a fan refusing to cut his hair until the club wins five consecutive matches.
With Michael Carrick’s side currently chasing that milestone, Rooney suggested the supporter is enjoying the spotlight too much.
“I’d put him to the other side of the country, he’s doing my HEAD IN,” Rooney stated during a recent media appearance.
The former striker questioned the fan’s true motivations as United’s form improves. Rooney believes the individual might actually fear the winning streak continuing because it would end his viral notoriety.
“I bet he’d be devastated if United win the fifth game because all of a sudden he’s irrelevant,” Rooney added, shifting the focus back to the team’s performance under Michael Carrick’s management.
