AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot faces a one-match suspension after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession during Friday’s 2-1 victory over Pisa.
Adrien Rabiot was sent off in the closing stages of AC Milan’s win against Pisa, creating temporary confusion over his suspension.
The Frenchman received a booking for a foul on the edge of the area, which would have triggered a ban for yellow card accumulation.
However, his subsequent protests earned him a second yellow and a red card, meaning he will miss Wednesday’s match against Como.
Despite the dismissal, Milan held on to secure the three points. Regulations dictate that Rabiot’s red card resets his suspension status; he will return against Parma but remains one caution away from a further ban.
Regarding the incident, some fans argued the foul was minor, but others noted it was a “yellow for a SPA (Stopping a Promising Attack)” and that “the ref was correct.”
