James Milner has broken the all-time record for Premier League appearances.
His start for Brighton against Brentford is his 654th appearance in the league, surpassing the milestone previously held by Gareth Barry.
Now aged 40, the three-time Premier League champion made his debut for Leeds United aged 16 in November 2002.
