Neymar has shared a heartfelt message of solidarity with Rodrygo, offering mentorship and emotional support after a devastating knee injury ruled the forward out of the upcoming World Cup.
Brazil icon Neymar has penned a deeply personal tribute to teammate Rodrygo after a severe ACL injury ended the youngster’s 2026 World Cup dreams.
Referring to the Real Madrid attacker as his “little brother” and “heir,” Neymar drew on his own experience with long-term rehabilitation to offer guidance.
“When I found out about the injury, it all flashed before my eyes. All the suffering, all the anguish,” he shared.
The message emphasized mental resilience during the grueling seven-to-nine-month recovery period ahead.
Neymar urged the 25-year-old to stay strong and maintain his focus while sidelined from both club and international duty.
“I only ask you one thing… ‘take care of your head’ now is the time to surround yourself with everyone you love,” he added, promising to support the forward throughout his journey back to the pitch.
