Portugal international Vitinha has definitively ended speculation regarding a summer move to Real Madrid, citing his happiness at Paris Saint-Germain and a desire for career stability over higher wages.
Paris Saint-Germain star Vitinha has dismissed rumors linking him with a blockbuster move to Real Madrid.
The midfielder, who recently finished third in the Ballon d’Or rankings, emphasized his loyalty to the French champions and head coach Luis Enrique.
Addressing the speculation, Vitinha stated, “It would be foolish to leave. I don’t think it would be the best thing for me at the moment.”
The 26-year-old also brushed off potential interest from the Saudi Pro League, prioritizing his legacy in Europe over financial gain.
Under contract until 2029, he expressed contentment with his life in Paris, adding, “I already earn very well here in Europe, at a big club.
Doubling or tripling that salary wouldn’t make me any happier.” He is now widely tipped as a future PSG captain.
