Assistant Bruno Saltor, who filled in, noted it was “not the right time for him to speak” regarding the sudden family bereavement.
The football community has rallied around Tudor, with former club Juventus also issuing a statement of sympathy.

With the international break underway, relegation-threatened Spurs have a three-week fixture gap, allowing Tudor private time before the squad returns to Premier League action away to Sunderland on April 12.
