Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal has opened up about his recovery process, highlighting the vital role teammate Gavi played during his rehabilitation.
Having faced a similar long-term injury previously, Gavi provided firsthand experience to help the midfielder navigate the mental and physical challenges of his comeback.
Bernal, now back in action and representing Spain’s Under-21s, credited this support for his successful return to the first team.
Reflecting on the bond shared between the La Masia graduates, Bernal emphasized the importance of their shared history.
He noted that Gavi’s mentorship was particularly crucial during the early stages of his recovery.
