Dani Olmo rejects tempting Saudi offer to remain at Barcelona

Spanish forward Dani Olmo has reportedly turned down a massive contract offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Qadisiyah, reaffirming his commitment to Hansi Flick’s project at Barcelona.

Dani Olmo has swiftly rejected a lucrative approach from Saudi Arabian club Al Qadisiyah, despite a proposed €60 million transfer fee.

The offer included a four-year deal that would have seen the midfielder earn roughly €9.5m net annually.

However, reports from Diario Sport indicate Olmo has no intention of leaving Catalonia, as he remains “purely focused on continuing with the Catalans” under Hansi Flick.

The rejected proposal would have made Olmo one of the highest-paid Spanish players globally.

Despite the financial allure of the Middle East, the forward is determined to establish himself as a cornerstone of the current Barcelona squad.

After an impressive victory against Atlético Madrid, Olmo made it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona, prioritizing sporting success over the “highly lucrative offer” from abroad.
