Tottenham Hotspur are officially in the Premier League relegation zone

Tottenham Hotspur have officially dropped into the Premier League’s bottom three after West Ham United secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Wolves to climb out of the relegation places.

West Ham United escaped the relegation zone for the first time since December following a commanding win at the London Stadium.

A brace from Taty Castellanos and two goals from Konstantinos Mavropanos sealed the victory, pushing North London rivals Tottenham into the unthinkable position of seventeenth.

Hammers coach Nuno Espirito Santo remained grounded despite the surge, stating, “I realise there is still a lot of work to be done yet.”

The result leaves Wolves facing confirmed relegation as early as next week, while Spurs continue their dramatic free fall toward the Championship.

West Ham’s resurgence, marked by five wins in eleven games, has radically shifted the survival landscape.

Reflecting on the atmosphere that fueled the result, Santo added, “London Stadium was amazing; it was bouncing with energy even in the hard parts when the game was tough.”
