Erling Haaland has reportedly emerged as the next blockbuster target for Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme.
After naming Rodri as his first marquee signing, Riquelme is now said to be eyeing the Manchester City goal machine as part of his ambitious vision for Los Blancos.
Pep Guardiola’s exit has sparked speculation over the futures of several City stars, including Haaland. But landing the Norwegian striker won’t be easy, with Madrid likely needing a world-record transfer fee to tempt City into a sale.
There are also questions over how Haaland would fit alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in an already star-studded attack at the Bernabeu.
