Six Premier League youngsters shortlisted for PFA young player of the year

Six rising Premier League stars have been shortlisted for the PFA Young Player of the Year award after standout seasons. Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha, Arsenal’s Max Dowman, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, Manchester City duo Nico O’Reilly and Rayan Cherki, plus Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi all made the cut.

Dowman shattered age records at Arsenal, while Kroupi scored 13 league goals. Ngumoha, Cherki, O’Reilly and Mainoo also impressed with breakthrough campaigns. The nominees were announced by the PFA, recognising the league’s brightest young talents.
