Brighton complete £21.5m deal for Nigerian teen Zadok Yohanna

Brighton have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian teenager Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm on a five-year deal.

According to The Athletic, Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the signing of Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm in a deal worth £21.5 million. The 18-year-old passed his medical on Saturday and will officially join the Premier League club when the transfer window opens on June 15.

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler described Yohanna as “an exciting player to watch,” adding that the youngster’s pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders will strengthen the club’s attacking options.

Yohanna arrives after an impressive breakthrough season in Sweden, attracting interest from Newcastle United before Brighton won the race for his signature. The move marks another major step in the teenager’s rapid rise and reinforces Brighton’s reputation for identifying and developing elite young talent.
